On Sunday, the 2nd of March 2008, at 6 pm, the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School welcomed the national benefactor Kapriel Tchemberdjian and the reknowned Armenian musician and the Chairman of the Composer’s Union of Armenia, Robert Amirkhanian. The respectable guests were accompanied by Hagop Ladoyan,  the president of the Lebanese National Committee of Hamazkayine, Shahan Kandaharian, the editor in chief of « Aztag » newspaper and the intellectual historian, Yervant Pamboukian. The guests were received by the school principal, Gregoire Kaloust. A group of members of the administration body of the school was also present at this meeting.

Gregoire Kaloust talked about the schoolat present and discussed plans of the future. He also introduced the guests to the school website and its monthly newspaper. Then, the guests were shown the different divisions of the school.

At the end of the meeting, the  Robert Amirkhanian wrote in the school Golden Book, « I declare to this miraculous cradle, the Mesrobian school indefatigable and encouraging personnel that ennobles the Armenian children’s spiritual character, my warm affection and feelings and my cooperation with resolute readiness ».
