Thursday, 15 May 2008 - Father Hovhannes Tashjian Passed Away in Aleppo
The Armenian Catholic Patriarchate and the Armenian Catholic Prelacy in Aleppo mourn the unexpected death of the parish priest of St. Trinity church of Nor Kugh, Father Hovhannes Tashjian that happened on Wednesday the 14th of May 2008 at 6:00 am. Father Tashjian was born on the 17th of November 1943 and was ordinated priest on the 16th of August 1981. The Patriarchal committee of the website expresses its condolences to the prelate of the Armenian Eparchy in Aleppo, the clergymen and the relatives of Father Tashjian, praying to God that his soul will be accepted in the Kingdom of Heaven. The funeral service will take place on Friday the 16th of May 2008 at the St. Trinity church at 11:00 am, after which the deceased will be taken to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Pity in Tillel and will be placed in the priests tomb. |
