Friday, 30 May 2008 - His Beatitude Nerses Bedros XIX Congratulates the Newly Elected President of Lebanon
Beirut, Lebanon His Beatitude Nerses Bedros XIX Catholicis Patriarch of Cilicia of Armenian Catholics offered His warm congratulations to the newly elected president of Lebanon, General Michel Suleiman, during a phone conversation with the President on the morning of May the 30th, 2008. His Beatuitude had also previously congratulated Suleiman and the Lebanese in a formal letter, with the hope that the new President will succeed in opening a new page of understanding between the Lebanese communities, as well as the country will propser in peaceful conditions.
