His Beatitude Nerses Bedros XIX Catholicos Patriarch of Cilicia of Armenian Catholics congratulated both the Lebanese president Michel Sleiman and Prime Minister Fouad Siniora on the occasion of the formation of the Lebanese unity cabinet wishing that this will stabilize the country’s security and will grant a new period for economic prosperity. His Beatitude also congratulated the release of the Lebanese prisoners and the return of the bodies of the fighters to Lebanon, considering it a triumph for all the Lebanese opening a shining horizon for a hopeful future. His Beatitude assured to the country’s leaders that the national benefits have always elevated the individual gains and the transitory policies.

Lebanon has always been the home of different cultures and religions, and for this reason His Beatitude ended his letter with a prayer to God to protect Lebanon from every kind of vice and to enlighten its future so that it will become a free and independent homeland for the Lebanese and for the whole Arab world.
