Wednesday, 26 March 2008 - Festivity of Nomenclature of Our Lady of Annunciation Church
Beirut, Lebanon
On Tuesday the 25th of March 2008, the parish of Our Lady of Annunciation church in Jeitawi, celebrated the church’s nomenclature. His Beatitude Nerses Bedros XIX Catholicos Patriarch of Armenians for the Armenian Catholics celebrated the Divine Liturgy and conveyed a message in which His Beatitude said that the Annunciation is a dominical day because it commemorates Christ as a man, emphasizing that the church along the centuries has played an essential role in preserving the true Christian values. His Beatitude also mentioned that the believers should express their faith and belief by devotion and servitude.
