On Monday, the 29th of December 2008, a group of 12 Lebanese children left to Vatican, in order to participate to the Holy Mass that will be held by the Holy Pontiff Benedict XVI on the 1st of January, 2009.
The Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School is proud to announce that Narod Adourian, a 6th grade Mesrobian student, is one of the participating students. She will stay in Vatican until the 5th of January, 2009.
The president of the benevolent organization DMS Onlus of Brescia, Italy, Prof. Angelo Bosio and his wife Prof. Barbara Bosio have notified the school with the arrangement: "We are happy to hear that the young Mesrobian student will spend her holiday in Vatican, receiving the Papal Blessing with thousands of other students gathered from all around the world."
On this occasion, and in the name of the Lebanese children, DMS Onlus donates $10,000 to the Iraqi children, "who know exactly what war means. We pray that the Holy Spirit keeps the children of the world and their families in safety and peace."
Narod Adourian herself will hand over the donation to the Holy Father, who in His turn will convey it to the Iraqi Catholic children.
